Rotary Club of Aspen’s Ducky Derby Website:  DuckyDerby.com

Team/Individual Account Setup

 

Our new website will make it easy to give credit to both specific groups and to particular individuals for raising funds online.  Once you have setup a team and an individual account, anyone who wants to donate in your name will be able to do so easily no matter how they navigate to our adopt-a-duck webpage.


All the teams we know about to date do not need to create an account as it is already set up with the same log-in information as last year.

Individuals who created an account last year, do not need to do the following steps.  Instead skip down to the section titled “Adding a Cause to an Existing Account.”


Setting up a Team Account
:

  1. Go to DuckyDerby.com.
  2. Underneath “Businesses/Teams” (about halfway down the first page on the left) click where it says “To Add a New Team Click Here”.
  3. Fill in the necessary information to create your team’s main account.Be sure to keep your team’s username and password for future use.
  4. When you finish this, you will have a Team page that has the basic Ducky Derby information.If you would like you can edit your web page to better represent your team.
    1. To do this, click on the quick link “Login to Edit Webpage” or go to http://www.TeamRaiseEasy.com/Login.aspx
    2. Under “Manage Causes/Support” click on “Aspen Ducky Derby 2015”.
    3. On this page you can change 3 things:
      1. the photos that display in the Photo Gallery box,
      2. the Rotary Club logo on the right to your team’s logo,
      3. and the page content text box (below the photo).

Setting up an Individual Account:

  1. Go to DuckyDerby.com .
  2. Underneath “Business/Teams” (about halfway down the first page on the left ) select the team from the “select team” drop down box and click the “Go” button.Do not use the “Individuals” section or you will not be part of your team/group.
  3. Click “Join Team” on the menu bar just below the Ducky Derby logo.
  4. Fill in the necessary information to create your main account.Be sure to keep your username and password for future use.
  5. When you finish this you will have an Individual page that has the basic Ducky Derby information.If you would like you can edit your web page to better represent yourself.
    1. To do this, click on the quick link “Login to Edit Webpage” or go to http://www.TeamRaiseEasy.com/Login.aspx
    2. Under “Manage Causes/Support” click on “Aspen Rotary Club”.
    3. On this page you can change 3 things:
      1. the photos that display in the Photo Gallery box,
      2. the Rotary Club logo on the right to your own photo or graphic,
      3. and the page content text box (below the photo.

Adding a Cause to an Existing Account

  1. Go to DuckyDerby.com
  2. Click on the “Login” button on the top right corner and enter your log-in information.
  3. From the top menu select the furthest right option: “Browse Cause”
  4. Scroll down the list to find “Aspen Ducky Derby 2015” and select the “Join This Cause” button.
  5. You will then have to enter 2 pieces of information:Your fundraising goal and the extension for your web address.
    1. The first item is up to you (but go big!!!).
    2. The web address extension should be simple and cannot have spaces.I just put my name: “CraigMelville”
    3. You will be sent an email with this website address so that you can add it to promotional emails you send.
  6. Now for the slightly more difficult part: Adding a team to your account.
    1. Select the “Manage Causes – Support” menu item and then pick “Aspen Ducky Derby 2014” from the drop down list.
    2. Find the green page icon “Cause Details” (just to the right of the drop down list which says “Aspen Ducky Derby 2014” and click on it.
      1. Select the appropriate team from the “Select Team” drop down list.
      2. Then click “Join Team”
  7. That should do it. You have now joined the Aspen Ducky Derby 2014 and your group’s team.
